I soooo have more than I need or could ever use... But she's such a sweet looker, I'm not sure I can resist!!! Time will tell. :D

I've NEVER seen INFI patina like this... used it to carve a 20lb Christmas ham and it got colorful!

Mikey, GREAT CALL on stripping your Mistress...those INFI dimples are CLASSIC and that Patina is beyooouuuuteeeefooooool!
 
I have been holding out because I want a NMFBM...I just like the look of the fusion handles although I have never had a ASHBM or NMFBM in my hand..... Bladerunner that is an amazing looking set of BMs!

Having owned both, I like the ASHBM best. There's no wrong way to hold the handle. It's great. I need to sell what wasn't used as collateral now. Dangit.
 
I had the ASHBM, but it was just a tad fat for me. I really wish I never sold my original 1/300 SHBM. If I ever had a chance to buy another at a great price it would be on. When Jerry said they may release some knives in SR101 I'm just praying they do one in the old speced SHBM. I would buy 3 for sure. That knife could be used to chop, could be used as an actual knife, it was perfect. The ASHBM was to heavy for me to use as a large knife if needed, it was a pure chopper, and I use a large blade to baton with more then anything. It was to heavy to carry besides in a pack, and my girlish hands couldn't really hold it, it was to thick in the scales and steel.

I just really need an old school SHBM, I hope he does a run of CG SHBM and I am so there on that one. Until that day, which will surely never happen, it will be my Basic 11 which I love, or my Bill Seigle Jest Bolo as my large blades.

This is why I really like this one... She may be thick, but she's pretty much the same weight and balance of the old SHBMs.





You may want to try the Bushwacker Mistress (BWM)... A really underrated mistress, and it's soooo close to the old school SHBMs it's not funny!

I've been on the fence for awhile, but this thread pushed me off. I just ordered an ASHBM in black canvas/tanker gray. The wait begins!!

I need some more pictures to help hold me over! Keep them coming!
 
So does the drop down/rear talon hole beat the hell out of your pinky when chopping. I'm very close to pulling the trigger on one of these, the NMFBM just looks a little more comfy.
