...it is more than I expected. Beautiful blade. Worth every penny
I have to say, I just received my first ASHBM off the exchange(thanks paintguy) and it is more than I expected. Beautiful blade. Worth every penny
I had no idea the handle was lightened. That explains why it handles better than I thought it would. I haven't noticed any vibrations but I haven't done any hard chopping yet. Only a little light chopping.
According to Jerry, all these have a form of LB treatment that consists of holes drilled in the tang. That came as a surprise to those of us who recalled that Jerry had previously stated that holes in the tang caused increased impact vibrations to the users hand.
I like the ASHBM, think it is a fine knife, but in my opinion it does not chop as well as the NMFBM! The ASHBM is a really a great knife and I would never fault anyone for buying one, they work great! Just not as great as the NMFBM-just my opinion!!
I certainly agree. Very nimble in hand. I was surprised that when handling it alongside a bushwhacker mistress, it actually felt lighter to me. Idk how that's possi ble, but it did.
