Where are the Skinner fans? Skinny Skinner BPU, dealer exclusive release through USA Made Blade.
Very nice! Don’t have a BPU Skinner ….yet.

I did land 2 Skinny Skinner COVID-19 models. Apparently Rick built a number of these himself during the lockdown. Stonewash and Working Finish. Also a USA Made Blade exclusive.

So few Autos here .... much nicer to use than vanilla Eklipse or XM18, IMO. No flipper tab, for one; 2nd, full Ti out of the box; 3rd a better lock. Etc.

Signature series Sunday. The signature series is where Rick takes a component that is production and does something with it. In this case we had a blade that started out on the line as a harpoon spanto and he ground down to a harpoon Spearpoint.

In addition and also separately able to purchase he took some scales and contoured them down and applied the same moniker as the knives. This particular one is carbon fiber and he also did a handful in micarta as well. These would have released around 2016.

Pretty excited to have both the knife and the scale together.

Great pic!
I'm thinking the 3.25" may be the perfect size. I probably should find out.
I honestly first thought that there is no point in hitting in between...boy I've never been more happier to be wrong.

I love how the 3.25 has the same frame thickness as the 3.5, looking back that was a big drawback on the 3.0 being a little thinner.

I went ahead and ordered one over the weekend after checking the handle width. I usually buy heavier knives with 3.5" blades because my old, arthritic handles like thicker handles better. The last RHK I purchased was a Jurassic with the hollow ground Magnacut blade and it quickly became my favorite Hinderer. I like the size better and the handle works fine. In fact, I sold both my 3.5" Eklipses and am down to one 3.5" XM-18. I expect the 3.25" XM-18 will be a better looking knife than the Jurassic.
