Lets see some Hinderer action

Here they are--sorry, I'm not the greatest photographer (I didn't need another expensive hobby). Literally just got the Eklipse (hence the pocket clip), I'm going to need to find a WF scale for it.

Non-flipper Eklipse looks great. Really clean. I really like the micarta you chose as well. I regret not snagging one, they are a rare config and ek had a ton of cool builds.

I recently joined the Hinderer club with a ZT 0392WC, and liked it enough that I just bought an Eklipse skinny. Personally I love micarta so I bought a Sharp Dressed Knives black canvas scale for it, waiting for it to arrive.

Oh and I found a ZT 0562MIC for $120 so now I have 3 LOL will share pics of the squad when I get them presentable, working through some kinks with the 0392 in particular. Pretty terrible factory edge that needs remedied, and I have a modern Eklipse hardware kit I need to install.

Thanks!

Yeah I got back in recently and saw those Eklipses (long out of stock) and was just hopefully they'd do them again (huzzah). My next purchase will be an Eklipse Skinny, love the XM skinny and I am digging the Eklipse.

Nice! I am waiting for a SDK scale for my Eklipse--i went with the purple haze carbon fiber. Next I need some stonewashed purple hardware, and working finish...

I would love an xm18 skinny in the future. I really appreciate the fact that they have some "skinny" options in the line up. A "typical" Hinderer is just really big and beefy and not great for my usual use case. The 0392 really made me fall in love with Hinderer designs, so the eklipse has been the one I'm most drawn to. Now the more I see the xm18 the more I like it. For now my 0562 is a good substitute

I briefly had a liner-lock XM-18 with a three-inch blade. I sold it as it was too. Which sizes of the XM series have been offered with a liner-lock and what is their availability?

Hinderer offered some XM18 3.5" liner locks in three different blade styles last year. They all currently show as sold out at the RHK site.

I'm generally not into knives with blades as small as 3", though I do have a few, but I would consider the liner lock version, to the exclusion of the frame lock, if I were to get a Hinderer in that size,

Absolutely beautiful! Wow!
Thanks, e.g. I searched my posts to see how long I've had this MP1 and found it's going on 9 years, back to May '17. I fell in love with the mottled linen Micarta on this one after seeing a couple guys post their's on this thread and elsewhere. I kept checking dealerships regularly and was luck to grab mine when a few dropped at DLT and almost immediately disappeared.

Indeed that looks amazing. The micarta looks like it would feel amazing in hand. Soft and grippy.

Well, thanks. The knife does feel really good in hand, but it's more a product of the handle shape and the Micarta's grippiness comes more from the scale's milling pattern than any innate softness. This particular linen slab is pretty densely infused with resin, though it does have some texture to it.
