Lets See Some Pure Fighters

Fitch 10" stag.

Joe,
I have a little pile of Shiva Ki blades but the only pics I have
are this snakewood small Spirit blade, the last one I received from Shiva.

And this curly maple small Spirit that I sent down to Jimmy Fikes for blade testing.
A little rope cutting and 2 X 6 chopping, I think Lamey did the chopping.
That's Jimmy's knife on top.

bowie019-1.jpg

This knife now rides in A P. Long Cape buffalo and leather sheath I can not say to much about a proper sheath with out it the knife stay's home and not designed well the knife becomes a burden to carry

"And let's face it It does not get any more pure than some of the dedicated fighting bowie's out there so go ahead guy's let's see the IMHO the greatest fighting knives of all the FIGHTING BOWIE'S"

So my favorite fighting Bowie here at the house looks like a bit of a moose, but it feel super and moves great if you like the thumb on top "saber grip".
Bud Tracy forged the blade and guard, the sheath is leather covered wood, more of a scabbard. The pattern it the blade and guard does not show in these photos (snapshot camera)

added one photo, changed one.

This one is very light and fast. It too saw service in the Sand Box. She is in Vasco Wear. Vasco Wear is so tough at a high Rc.ratings, that it is used for the locking devices on the 747 that carries the Space Shuttles. It is also used for the input shafts for Top Fuel and Funny Car clutches. Shame it is no longer produced!

This Fighter was designed by Maj. Louis Chow and myself.

I dig that bowie Dino - now that's a defensive guard. ;) The zombies don't stand a chance.

More Oldies! A matched set of large Fighters with Big Bear guards. I made this set for a friend who is sadly no longer with us. I will try to find a pic of him holding one of them to show the size and to honor him.

A Loveless Connection "Wilderness"

A super deeply ground Jr. Bear I made back in the late 80's. This was way before the Loveless Connection Knives.

And a Combat Bear. This is one of three Knives that were carried out to Cali. to the Riverside Shop that put the Loveless Connection Knives in gear. Bob Loveless and Jim Merritt really liked this one!
The Pic is terrible, but you can get the idea.

My all time favorite Loveless Fighter. Isn't it a Beauty? I'll be doing the escutcheon plates starting this year. This one if From the Man himself.

And lastly, the first Loveless Authorized Big Bear I made. I'll never forget this one. It was a real Bear to build. But I learned a lot on this one!
