Those BG Boss jacks are great knives with the full flat grindA while back I got a Battle Grade Boss Jack in a grab bag. I fell in love with SR101 the very first time I used it.
Those BG Boss jacks are great knives with the full flat grindHow does the BG BJ compare with Hog Badger ? Any chance for a comparison pic ?

No problemo! As far as how they feel, my HB feels just a tad nose heavy whereas the BJ feels neutrally ballanced to me. The deeper scallops between the rivets on the handle of the HB makes it feel a bit thinner overall but it still feels very good to me. Some liners would probably be a welcomed addition for some folks but I like it fine the way it is. The HB is a few thousandths thinner behind the edge and all of the corners are rounded off which was a nice surprise. Some might have preferred a sharp 90 degree angle on the spine for using with a fire starter but I like it the way it is. When handling the knife those rounded off corners give a nice "finished" feel to it.Those BG Boss jacks are great knives with the full flat grindHow does the BG BJ compare with Hog Badger ? LOL just 8 total this time. 2 CG, 3 BG, 1 DCBB & 2 satin (black G-10 & black micarta) Not sure which will get used, digging the Battle Grade Badgers alsoLooks awesome Jaxx! That's a sweet looking color combo too. Will it be a user or will one of the other 26 get used:thumbup:
? I looks like the perfect user size seeing it against your arm.

Personally, and my own gripe, a usable choil on the Badger might have pushed it above the RMD & BATAC for me as I like the option of choking up & the HOG Badger's is definitely no finger size choil. Ah well, still a helluva knife and I do like 'em a lot as the newest addition to the Badger lineNice combos! Yeah, I'm anxious to see which one I like more. I have a satin and black CG both with black canvas coming tomorrow so time will tell. If they're what I've been dreaming of both will be users. Right now my go to users have been the AMS, RMD and Axe Hammer with the B11 for the big stuff. But I love them all.
How do you think it compares to the RMD?
Went Sage/GCM for BG, Sage/BCM for CG, and they are close...Mine is actually black canvas but I think the new black they are using along with the new machining did make it look an awful lot like yours.

If we had a choice that's what I would have bought
Very cool, Bossman, I like this a lot! But, I need a favor... "Sir, may I have some more.". Choil, that is.Please offer a larger choil option...doesn't have to be huge...just something like the size of the HRLM choil...or better, like that 3B2 MO ASH variant choil. Usable, not huge. Please, I beg you...!
