Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

Have I posted these before? Sorry if I did.

What model is this OLD TIMER fixed blade ?
Everyone knows Schrade copied the Buck 110 with their Lb7, but I had no clue they also copied the 119 as well.
I always thought a 119 in 1095 would be awesome.
As far as stainless steel goes I love Bucks 420hc though, so I've got a 119 on the way because Buck finally started making a lefty leather sheath for it.

I have one of those.

It's a handful of a knife.

That old Schrade 1095 takes a wicked edge.

Show and Tell "not-at-work" today. ;)

Only one missing from the pic is my JK Knives Bluegill because it was in my hand.

I have some buddies here on the forums who have been really preaching the merits of Fiddlebacks and I even had the opportunity to handle some not too long ago. Just fantastic knives. I suspect that I will need to introduce 1 or more to my collection before too long...

The grayish blue handled one third from the left caught my eye immediately, which pattern is that?

They are really fantastic. Handle ergonomics are incredible. That gray one is actually an @Osprey Knife & Tool Warthog. Chris apprenticed/worked under Andy at Fiddleback before recently moving into his own shop. Same insanely high quality, and Chris tends to work with thinner steels more often than the Fiddleback gang, which I really like. That Warthog is 3/32" CPM154 with a sick tang taper. I lust for a K2 Raptor in 1/16" steel.

Sounds like Andy has been able to pass on his knowledge and skills to a fair number of great knife makers. I really like the Fletcher that I have, it is simply so easy to pocket and despite its rather diminutive size, it is comfortable to handle and use. Speaks a lot to the quality of design and craft.

That Warthog sounds amazing. I am developing more and more an appreciation for thinner steels, especially for day to day use and even just all around outdoors use. I also had never seen those tang tapers until I handled some Fiddlebacks, it is such a cool design feature that really speaks to the overall quality and attention to detail. If you don't mind me asking, what are the dimensions of that blade? OAL, blade length, etc.

Warthog
3/32" (.104") CPM154 Tapered Tang
Handle: Charcoal Grey G10 over Natural w/ Ruby Red accent liner (Sandblasted)
OAL: 7 1/4"
Blade: 3 1/4"
Weight: 3.2oz

I'll snag another picture of it by itself later for you.

Andy's business model is inspiring, honestly. What's he's done for budding knife makers in Georgia is amazing. The little knife on the far right is actually from a current apprentice of Andy's, @kmellino. That's Kyle's Cricket (2" blade, 4.25" OAL), which is a wonderful letter opener/Amazon box opener.

Thank you, sir!

I would have to agree with you in terms of the business model, it also really encourages the average potential consumer (me) to want to buy their knives. I am already digging around in Osprey's sub. :D
