How embarrassing. That is what I just had. Gaaah! It's snowing. Again.
From the archives. In 2008, I got this when Dan Koster and Tom Krein got together to form K9 knives. CPM-3V with Bos heat treat. #31/50. 5” blade length.

It feels good in the hand. Definitely has some heft to it. I am not sure where the others went, but yes, it would be good to hear some stories. About thirty of these were finished by Dan and he numbered his on the spine. Tom Krein finished the other twenty and are numbered like mine. This looks awesome. Even just a few years later it still has style. How comfortable is the handle? This looks like the right size to take on eployment. Do we know if any of these from them went to our troops? Would love to hear any stories of these in use.
Could have just been a common style like you see with knives like the imperial H6.I have seen Cattaraugus, Kinfolks, CASE knives with those same handles. I wonder who made them.
Or a BSA Western.
That is a great find, Jer!I couldn't believe this.
Thank you. I'm going to make a pouch-type sheath for it. A keeper strap would strain skills I don't have. That is a great find, Jer!
