A KERSHAW and two GERBERS. The wooden handled GERBER came to me with no sheath, and the bumps between the finger grooves were pointy but damaged. I filed down the damaged points, enhancing its appearance IMHO, and making it possible to hold the knife with a reverse grip. I've never found a reason to carry any of these, but I sure enjoy owning them. If I could only keep one of them, it would definitely be the model 400; it's a one-of-a-kind. I'm glad I recently stumbled upon this thread, as I enjoy it immensely. T-A

This new Old Hickory outdoors mini fillet just arrived, been waiting a good while for BHQ to get them in stock.
I'm still not 100% positive if they're carbon or stainless, but I'll know soon enough I suppose :D
The site says carbon, but the rep in the blade show video said stainless.

It should make an excellent ultralight EDC belt knife, I'll give it a go and see.
I don't do much heavy duty cutting so I can't imagine any issues and I know it'll sure be great for cutting my lunch.

I'm not too impressed with the sheath regardless of COO but it is functional, as a lefty I'm sure I'll make one eventually but I will give the factory sheath an honest try.
great little fur skinning blade! Not to mention general daily utility. I will have to look into these.

I've had this a long time. Colt Black Diamond Defender. After I drilled out the lanyard tube to put on a longer handle, I decided the old handle was fine. Maybe some day I'll drill out the dowel and put in a lanyard tube, or maybe I've done enough damage.

The sheath was made in USA; the knife doesn't actually say so.
I was thinking I needed a 6" tanto, and then remembered that I don't.

Isn't that one of the Vanguard variants?
I am cleaning it up and sharpening this one for a friend. So it is on loan to me for a week or so. It hasn’t been cleaned in years. You can see the deer fat on the blade. It must be stainless. I really don’t know much about it.

I'm pretty sure I have an advert from the early 90's. I'll try and remember to have a look for it
