Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

I love that knife.

Thanks CS... Its one of the few knives I've gotten in quite some time that I can't stop fondling

Doing something a little different for Christmas this year..

I've started pushing of a few of my older used knives but still-in-good- serviceable-shape out the door via a worthy cause, with some in basic hand made leather pouch sheaths as gifts to the guys and gals in our U.S. Military in need of a good knife. Then, my wife has been packing up a small care package to go along with it(tooth brush, tooth paste, razors, shaving cream and the like) along with a little Christmas card that my kids sign.. The response and resulting gratitude has been phenomenal!!

Its a great feeling to help out a young vet in need.

Good on you and the family Anthony. Thats a great idea sendin blades and care packages to the folks in the sandbox

I also love that Bark River.:D
But now it's time for a few.......

Good to know. Not only fine looking but useful looking knives I'll wager as well.

Another Wayne Hendrix knife in the school of George Herron.

I used to have a very early Hendrix from when he first started out.. I wish I never gave it away now. He crafts some quite useful cutting tools too. This drop point Hunter/Skinner in STAG of yours is quite sweeeet!

Nice knives Gents! Good honest cutting tools all around and all of them quite purrdy to behold. Really love the Watson, Vince. Campbell, your fine desk top blades are quite handsome as is kamagong's as well. The Gossman looks like a 'must have' for heavy field work. Scott did a fine job on that one.. Is that Tusker model flat ground or hollow ground, btw?

Here is a hand made Hunter-Skinner Bowie style blade from a maker named 'Kentucky Red'. I'm still trying to track down the maker and age of the knife.

I put her to my old Soft Arkansas whet stone a little earlier this evening to touch up the edge a tad for a possible work out tomorrow..

Here's one that I use quite a bit. I picked it up from James Rehrer of Clarion, Pennsylvania when he was selling through the knifemakers forum. It's small enough that I can carry it in a pocket sheath, although it spends time in a belt sheath as well.

440C if I remember correctly
OAL 7 1/2"
Blade length 3 3/8"
Handle is Buckeye Burl

The handle and sheath were in dire need of a little maintenance, the guard needed a dab of superglue for the wobble but this thing sure did get nice and sharp.
