  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

Here is a Rudy Ruana skinner with "little knife" stamp (1944-1962) and another (2012) by the Hangas boys in Rudy's old shop in Bonner, Montana. The damascus is 1084/L6 by Gerome Weinand.

Here are more Westerns, little ones. The dark blades are actually very bright; I have not figured out how to remedy this in my scanner.

WOW, Tongueriver your Western Boulder fixed blades are just beautiful, I am amazed at the selection of some VERY hard to get knives that you have in these shots alone.

The Marbles and Ruana's are show stoppers in their own right

Thank you very much for sharing these stunning knives with us - this is why we are so lucky to belong in a forum such as this - to see things like this.

Wow, I can't compete with some of these collections. Just stunning stuff.

Top to bottom:
My Grandfather's (unknown, unmarked) 6" Bowie. Purchased in the 50s, we believe.
A beater Schrade H-15. A user. My woods knife.
Case 316-5 modified to a drop point. My kitchen knife.

I'd try to add in my couple of Cold Steel Roach bellies, but I'm not sure of their historical backgrounds. For some reason, I just like that blade, so I had t get another one to put away.

I've fired off some black powder in different rifles and pistols, but I never will forget having that old Navy kit pistol, and learning to shave the right amount of lead to get the ball to stay in the cylinder... Then there is a grease where you can pack it (the loaded cylinder) for it least for a short time loaded.

Here is a "Texas Bushcrafter" from Leethal Cutlery here on the forums. Nice ironwood and a pigskin lined sheath. It's interesting in that it has a svelte handle like a kitchen knife, but with hefty 5/32" 1095 and a 5" blade.
