Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

Wow Jeff, a real mirror finish, I think that grain is as closely matched as any I've ever seen. Well done

They are from a single block of walnut which I cut in half with a band saw, then used the inside facing cuts for the outside of the handles, so touching grain. Just orient them the same on the full tang handle and drill the holes. Turned out OK.

You make it sound simple Jeff! Seriously, great work

I really enjoying seeing the skills of people here, a lot of good stuff :)

I am a huge fan of Blackjack Knives, both the old Effingham models and the newer ones from BRKT. I usually stick to the big models like the 1-7 or the Halos, but this one is a fully usable Bowie in fully miniscule proportions. That's my regular Case trapper for scale. Works as a vest pocket bowie, boot knife, pocket fixed blade...whatever one can dream up ;)

I've been looking for something like that.

I've always been fond of the Canadian Belt Knife style as well as the more current blades it has inspired such as these from BRKT.

That Puma stag boot knife is outstanding.

Don't think I've put these up yet.
CVA, Connecticut Valley Arms kit knife from the 70's. Finally got around to putting a good handle on it.

Leather and buffalo horn for the handle.

Here is a Snody Texas Hunter blade blank that I bought here on bf a year or so ago.

That's ebony for the handle with SS pins.
All the leather is my work as well.

I'm having fun, hope you like looking :)
