Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

Bark River re-make of the Marbles Canoe....

Blue Ridge bought the rights and all remaining stock during the Marbles bankruptcy. These Canoes were made from NOS Marbles Ideal blades, 1095 Steel from the bankruptcy. A big Bark River Dealer in northern Wisconsin obtained the blades from Blue Ridge and commissioned these to be built by Bark River..

Did you mod the guard on that Von Tempsky ?

Puma Bayernmesser
Most definitely on the list.
Beautiful!

Just crossed off the list
Before

It was pretty rough. I doubt it had any collector value at all… so…

After

Looked a long time for that one :)

I notice some of your knifes have a blade mod to shape the blade into more of a semi-skinner shape, particularly the lower two in the first photo, and the leuku even has a drop point. did you make these mods yourself, and have you thought about a similar mod to the Roselli hunter? did you also reprofile the VonTempsky edge?

Hi Deltablade,

Yes I did these little mods myself. I love to transform my knives into better sharp tools to get the most from them and to fit my needs.

The Roselli hunter would be maybe better with a less upset blade, but this 10+ years old knife recalls good memories so he will keep this shape.

Svord knives are fantastic (both design and materials) but their finish is rather rough. So some polished and roundeed angles were needed on the VonTempsky, as well as a more regular and thinner edge.

Stef

Picked this one up at a flea market when I was about 11 yrs old (about 1972 or so?). It's been my goto for hard use over the years and has stood up very well. Best $10 I ever spent!

This one has been kicking around in my collection for a while, and I think the vintage is mid sixties? Anyway, it was designed for use during the Vietnam era. Note the leather fasteners designed for stealth. The blade is four inches, while the over all length is eight and three eighths inches.
This knife was a gift from my best friend. He still has it's twin.

And, the nomenclature indicates it was hand made in Solingen Germany. :)
