Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

I've seen that kind before. I think it's given to Klingon boys when they graduate Kindergarten. Or college. Or something like that. :D

:D

A British MOD knife that I modified.

Nice MOD mod :) How's the steel?

Very nice. Who made it?

The Keen Kutter drop point?
well not Simmons...
I believe KK is owned now by Frost and Sons, research shows variable FnF in some knives ( mainly the folders, they make MooreMaker 1095 fixed blades also),,,but this one is real good and in the classic PH 1 hunter style drop point. Good weight, great comfortable handle for my hands. Only one I have seen in Stag. They made them in other covers in 2006. Not sure on the type of Stainless. Not much other info I could find.

Sorry guys. I am mostly just looking for another place to shamelessly show off my rehandle of my father's old imperial.

I carry this LT Wright Hunter Pro Elite a lot when camping, hiking and hunting.

Another favorite hunting knife. T Bose pattern, Drop Point Hunter made by Rick Menefee. 154CM, maple handle scales.

Great pics Jake, love seeing the fixed blades "in action". I had forgotten about this thread , one of my favorite fixed:

Oh I know you love ALL of your City Knives Tom, they're all real nice looking as well!

Here's a clean picture of my Menefee, along with my Dowell trapper again...

Picture of the tang. Rick is one of the best at getting an absolute thin tapered tang. For reference the thickness at the ricasso is 1/8".

Finished this last night... A2 and canvas micarta.

These were within reach as I was looking at this thread....

First, I think of this one as a cross between a "vest pocket bowie" and a wannabe Dozier design. It's made of 1070 steel; it's double edged; the handle is made of two types of horn, a light/honey and a dark; and I got it on flEabay with an almost-nice leather sheath for one dollar.

Next is a tiny little dagger, made in Japan for Ka-Bar.

This'un is by Boker. Really enjoy this one and use it a lot. The original sheath is long gone, and this one came with a nice kydex replacement that even holds it upside-down.

Sorry for the lousy lighting in these photos... It's dark and I'm indoors.... :/

Hello All, New here. Seemed a good a place as any to post my modified Ka-Bar tanto complete with fake yokote. It looks pretty close to what I'd imagine a ko-kissaki tip might.

Does this one count?

It most certainly does! (Do you know what it is?) I remember seeing these occasionally when growing up in rural North Carolina. The one in your pic is in really good shape - normally the belly on these is worn down quite a bit.
