That is a great selection of scouts Jack! What is that wood handled birdseye 6 down?

Thanks pal, I should get them out for a group pic really :) Got a few Girl Guide knives too

Here's a Marbles camp knife, a recent, much appreciated, gift from LastRodeo. Thanks, Mike! It's my only scout knife without a bail, and my only scout knife with a Philips screwdriver (not counting SAKs).

 They are some nice scout knives. I have a vintage Camillus boy scout knife with the same configuration. The Camillus scouts are my favorites.

IMG_0045.JPG I found a camillus 3 bladed cub scout knife this morning in my old foot locker full of knives. The footlocker was retrieved from dads "gun room" that recently was transferred to a large walk in closet (he passed in March from a fast growing brain tumor).
Dad was a tinkerer so along with his safe and guns I received his roll top desk full of various tools.
Back to the story... The camillus had a bit of play in the blade so I retrieved his small vice and located one of his punches along with a brass hammer I saw him use my whole life and took the play out. It is now tighter than dicks hat band. For a man who always had a half a smile on his face when he greeted a person, and only wanted to talk about two subjects, guns or knives. I miss him terribly and like to thank him for many things including a camillus boy scout knife that he gave me 35+years ago that I quickly dropped in the footlocker and forgot about till today. Its been sharpened, oiled, peened and never dulled a tiny bit but going in my pocket this afternoon. Good day

I'm so sorry for your loss. My father-in-law passed away last fall. He was my best friend, and the guy that I always talked knives with. It's hard enough to lose someone so close to your heart and life, but even worse when they're the person you share your hobby with. It leaves more than just one hole in your heart.

On the upside, congrats for bringing that Camillus Cub back to life. They're great knives. The covers are a bit hard on the eyes, but the pattern itself is absolute gold. Pa and I were planning to send a couple to somebody, to have the covers changed out for something nicer. We talked endlessly about it, but never got to the final stages.

LOVE THAT KNIFE Greg.....Just Beautiful, Camillus did an almost unbeatable job on their Bone- and yours is a Prime example! I would have snatched that up in a Heart Beat my friend!
