Nice work I love the flea market you can really find some gems if you look and see the potential.. cleaning the, up is great fun and keeps me off the couch.

My old home town had a knife shop; Buffalo Cut Co.!!! Unofficial Scout, probably made for them by Schrade, in the 1920s or 1930s!! Both in New York State!!!

That Charlie is probably one of the nicer Scouts - the whole package with the rarity of the Buffalo Stamp, and of course Schrades amazing touch to their knives! I always love seeing this knife!

Thanks Duncan! It seems barely used!!! It came from a friend in Easton, Pennsylvania, also close to New York State!! It seems that it has travelled little!!
(I wonder if there is enough interest for a thread to be created for rare stamps???)

Good idea Charlie, it would be a real interesting thread, especially with a some information about the stamps, being Rare Stamps it wont be a thread with huge numbered page amount, but man it would be interesting!
By the way I love those Harness Jacks Charlie! I could see them every day, and each day would be a good day.

Who and why is behind the buffalo stamp, I have never seen that before.

There used to be a Razor sales and sharpening service in Buffalo, NY; - Buffalo Cut Co!!!! As a sideline, they sold Pocket knives, mostly made for them by Schrade!!! This was during the first two decades or so of the last century!!You can probably see the Schrade DNA!!! Buffalo City Hall!!!
