that is indeed a nicer than the example I had in either the stained glass acrylic and maybe green and black acrylic. Neither stayed long because I am very partial to the larger clip.

I'd like to see that too.
Apparently Case did some in wood... not my picture.
I think the Case Classics were actually produced by Queen for Case. Yes, can you believe......And I think the Case you are showing, is one of the Case Classics. But I'm sure more educated members will chime in.
Thank you, I sure do like it.that is indeed a nicer than the example I had
So true.If case could do it, you bet Mr. Howard could.
I do... My Case knives made in the 70's are some of my best.Remember when case made excellent knives?
Hmmm... all good points.I think the Case Classics were actually produced by Queen for Case. Yes, can you believe......And I think the Case you are showing, is one of the Case Classics. But I'm sure more educated members will chime in.
And who was in charge of Queen's SFOs? Not for certain, but perhaps Mr. Howard......
Lol...All roads lead back to Bill Howard.
Bob was a good friend! We became pretty close through the years. We always talked a couple of times a week. I miss that smiling avatar baby face a lot, but I miss a good friend even more! I’ve got several knives that came from Bob. Either as a gift or purchases. This #47 was the only one I had that had been modded by Bob! With the exception of a couple with the etches removed. Bob always despised etches! I wouldn’t part with any of them. That #48 is modded from a long Spey blade to a long coping blade. I think a very useful mod.Great story. Sam and Thomas say hello. I miss Bob and that smiling avatar baby face.... Here is my "Biscuit". I bought it toward the end when he was putting groups of knives on the exchange. When I pick this one up, I can't help but think about him grinding away to make this "Biscuit".

Speaking of the Mudbug...
The more I handle the big Mudbug, the more convinced i am that they need to build the smaller #71 model Bullnose with a lockback and thinner handle slabs. It would be such a great all-around knife and I'm sure it would sell out quickly. I'm honestly very surprised that it hasn't been built yet.
I don’t know about the bullnose/buster to compare them to this mudbug but I really like it. I’d for sure buy a slightly smaller version.Yeah, I was halfway through writing the same post a few days back. It’s such a great idea that I wondered if there was a commercial reason not to make that knife, associated with the SFO deal they had with Smith and Sons? Just speculation of course.
