I think they will certainly be beautiful knives - it's a big canvas for some of the exotic materials that Northwoods are known for. Heck, they may even opt to not do a saber grind and go the way of the Madison Barlow.

Thanks! I guess I thought they had all the 2020 stuff wrapped up already. I knew they were waiting on bone for 23 LLs so maybe it's more of that then. I wouldn't mind another shot at a bullet LL.

Regarding the NW grind, I liked that the 35 was flat ground. If they do a mammoth and stag offering, I look forward to seeing them, that's a lot of cover space to show off the character.
 
A while back J released a video holding up a handful of Mammoth slabs and said this is going to be big. That would all tie in together with a 23 run. Of course time has been all running together recently with the covid and such going on so I can't remember when this was.
 
I can't help but to imagine in Jiki's basement there's a cork board covered in GEC knife designs and pictures of employees, and there's red string going from push pin to push pin all over the place connecting printed emails and internet articles to people and products.

Well, that's a bummer. I've been on the early reserve notification for quite some time and I got no notification that there would be a drawing that opened at 2pm - 2:15pm pst.

He had done it for the run of Northfield Barlows prior to the most recent one. I liked that system just fine but there were lots of folks who did not - just goes to show you cannot please everybody. I applaud Mike for doing his darnedest to come up with solutions for his customers. In the end, there are only so many knives to go around - can't make everyone happy.

Aside from some notifications not going out (technology will be technology), I think it's a great system for very limited releases like these. Two thumbs up. :)
 
Pretty sure I messed up. I misspelled my email address when I entered so I went to enter again and my phone froze up so I entered on my computer. Well my phone wasn't frozen it was just taking a while so it accepted my entry. I most likely have multiple entries which I assume will disqualify me. I emailed @knifeswapper to let him know. Hopefully I'm still in!! :(

Yeah I think a few folks added their names twice. I heard I should have gotten some notification so entered my email again then read that it disqualifies you. Hopefully, he'll just delete duplicates. Figured he's got enough emails though so I'll take my chances.
 
I like COllectorKnives random drawing concept, but I have never been drawn, so maybe it’s better in theory than in practice?!

It seems like GEC only cancelled SFO’s, Northwoods, club knives, etc. for 2020 (but not really because they made quite a few), and now that 2021 is here GEC has decided to keep on making these variations? I remain hopeful, GEC doing such great work.

I also think GEC stag has been exceptional lately, I have received several stag from recent runs, all random dealer choices, and so far I love them all.
