Ya, it takes a while to process. You can see the progress bar moving though at the top. Then a prompt will tell you that it is submitted.

https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
I like my chances better for this random drawing than I do for the early reserves. At least now there is a 15 minute window, and I don't have to reserve in seconds or else have no chance.
You know the 15 minute window has already passed right?
Yes, I submitted my email during the window. I assume it worked.
Same here and I agree. Mike is a stand up guy! I actually liked the process last time. The anticipation was fun and fair.Mike’s a stand up guy who always tries to do the right thing. I got shut out on 5 drawings for the last NF barlows (the 4 covers AND the losers drawing for those who had been shut out), and I still think that.
It seems like it was done as a favor/sign of respect for Charlie by GEC before foregoing SFOs. It’s also fitting that the first and (potentially) the last TCs will be single spears.I'm happy that everyone is stoked about the new TCs, but man, am I the only one a bit underwhelmed?
It's a cool barlow, don't get me wrong, but you can just buy a single spear 15 over at CK right now if you really want to try the pattern.
I was really hoping the next TC would be a 2 blader, we haven't seen those in forever.
I really like the single spear 15s, and that just makes me all the more excited to be getting a TC Barlow. That said, a two blader would be even more exciting.I'm happy that everyone is stoked about the new TCs, but man, am I the only one a bit underwhelmed?

That’s part of the allure for me. I’ve lusted after those TCs for years, and the single spears that started it all have become iconic. Getting one of these like owning a piece of history, in more ways than one.It seems like it was done as a favor/sign of respect for Charlie by GEC before foregoing SFOs. If I remember correctly, Mike had a fair amount of work to do when he did his last drawing - sorting through duplicates (malicious and otherwise), other efforts to skirt the system and the like. It's convenient for the consumer in a sense but a bit of a nightmare for Mike - he should have a banner up "I have a background in IT/software - please do not try to pull one over on me, I will know!"
That would be the porch super bowl. Would be awesome. Now we just need a big public drawing here on the porch to make it more exciting.
Doing it this way is perfect for me. I get a shot without all the other junk that goes along with trying to by GECs. Throw my name in, go about my business, celebrate if I win one, shrug my shoulders and move on if I don’t.
