I have one of these inbound, looking forward to checking it out.I don't know about everyone else, but I think those makos coming off the line are looking really nice! Love them in stag!

GEC does some very curious things in regards to what they name their handle materials. I suppose it's to set them apart and I don't really mind. For instance, the 'jigged fish scale acrylic' is called 'staffordshire blue acrylic' on my 81 Coon Skinner. I'm not sure I like the jigged version but the smooth version looks fantastic.
GEC named that same acrylic "Blue Tuna" on my 33 conductor whittler made in 2013. Terrific looking acrylic, IMO.
I guess they put the jigging on it for those who are actually going to use it as a fishing knife.
Look like they updated their webpage to include the 77 barlows as in production. I can't wait to see how the scales turn out on these!
I wouldn't want to whittle all day with it, but it sure would look good in a display....
I only bought sheepsfeet on this run but I have to say, the way the swedge and long pull look on the clips are really phenomenal. Kinda wish I had gone for a sawcut.
Yep, I'm betting those sit on the dealers shelves for a while. Would look nice in a display case, but I don't think I'd want to pocket carry one.Templars always look like they have sharp edges and would be uncomfortable.
