For those interested, I’ve started a thread in the BG&U forum to provide information on dealer pricing practices. Please check it out and weigh in with your feedback. If the idea is sound, I think it will provide very helpful information for those interested in GEC knives.

Surprisingly pleased upon initial impressions. I like the extra thickness the extra tool provides, and it is very unobtrusive. Not sure how much use the BRR will get, though.
I can’t help but feel that comb would be more useful if you just ground all the tines off and had a long pokey-tool. The value of a good pokey-tool cannot be overstated.
 
I have some recollection of something about that knife swimming around in the back of my brain... but I'll be darned if I can remember what it is.
I can't find anything on the GEC site but there was one post on AAPK that stated there were 22 of them made. Maybe Darren @waverave can shed some light on it. ;)
