Good Luck!Well I didn't arrive until 3:30pm after driving all day, so there was nothing available for me today. Hope tomorrow brings better fortunes. If not I will just carve faces on the lawn.
Boom!Copperhead! Spring Green! Sepia! Antique Amber! Muscadine! Blood Red!
Glad we could clear that up this quickly.
Black Cherry like your 14 TCI think I will wait until the Rendezvous is over with, so no-one will miss the Poll on color!!
But here are some sample choices, open to suggestions: comments please!!
- Black Cherry (not likely to be pink!! Eew!!)
- undyed (white)
- ivory bone
- Dark Green (mentioned often - hides verdigris)
- Brown (??)
- Red
- blue
- purple
- copperhead
- other??
Yes!waynorth Charlie, I was wanting Chestnut or anything Brown but Black Cherry really sounds like a good choice
and Dark Green will also work
I don't have a Black Cherry knife to show, here's a pick of Evergreen Pick Bone, my wife is convinced it's black but it's not, it's dark green, can't wait for the poll

Well, I think that's a bit "picky" for Bill! If we start after every little detail, he will probably tell us where to go!! I think the color is going to be pretty exciting though!!waynorth wondering if you kicked around offering options for the type of sawcut.. wane, no wane, etc. If anything, it gives us another poll to pick on each other till this fall

I met some great folks as well including @mrknife and of courseAnW . Looked at and talked about some great knives. It’s definitely a fun time. I was hoping for a little more going on in the shop than there was but it’s certainly understandable that there wasn’t you could watch most of the finishing steps though that were going on on the 2nd/main floor. If I were less tired or staying overnight I would definitely stay longer probably stay for the second day and the picnic as well. I think people should at least try to go once. The two 86 sfa’s were sold out until tomorrow unfortunately so I got the 33 that AnW mentioned and a 62 sofa as well. I picked up a blade key also. At one of the tables outside I got a micarta 86 before I left. Both the sfa’s are northfield but the 62 has a tidioute tube for some reason. Not sure if they all did or not but it is what she grabbed it out of so I don’t think there was a mix up at least not at the counter. My drive was only 2 1/2 hours so I’ve got pics.

That’s the color right there!waynorth I still like Antique Yellow
I like that buttery yellow at the bolsters and along the edges, combined with that deep dark brown.
