Which one is in my hand?
Both have their strengths and weaknesses. It depends on my mood and what I am trying to accomplish. Right now the 62 has my attention, the regrind is so smooth.
I wasn’t thrilled with the 62 when I first got it because of the thick main blade, but after you recommended the Krein regrind, it is a pleasure to use. SO thin behind the edge.

I can't figure how you performed such a precise carving. Amazing !

Dan.
When one takes artificial time restraints away and sit to create something the you have a passion for. One can preform the most amazing things. That is the beauty of art, the beauty of whittling. Pick up a piece of wood and lose yourself for an hour or so each day, each week, what you can come up with. A part of me is super happy to be done with Christmas, for I have a few "acorns" that I have wanted to carve rolling around in my head.😉

Thanks guys, I look forward to seeing more from you too!

Thanks guys, I look forward to seeing more from you too!

I would not apologize for that at all. That is awesome. I love whimsies, and the ball in cage is a standard.

I wouldn't apologize for that either! Double ball in cage is not easy. Nicely done!

How long does something like this take? It’s very impressive.
