Lets talk GEC!

Nice one! I don't recognize that model nor SFO. Could you tell more about it?

As AusLoX AusLoX has replied (on my behalf), it is a Tidioute #782117 American Jack made for Dale Stoops (of The Knife Connection) in December 2017 - total of 100 were made. I am greatly indebted to another member here (my Guru, who shall otherwise remain nameless) for letting me buy it from his collection, it is one of my most prized knives.

It was quite a busy release:

The 'regular' release consisted of Tidioutes in Elderberry JB, Cocobolo and Smooth White Bone, and Northfields in Golden Brown JB, Ebony and Stag (single spear and 2-blade spear/pen versions in each), with most of the Northfieds released as 2017 knives in early 2018.

The SFOs were issued mainly in 100 pieces, with single spear blade only in the following - Natural Linen Micarta, Red Linen Micarta, Black Canvas Micarta, Chestnut Peach Seed JB, Blue Camel Bone, Smooth Appaloosa Bone, and Tortoiseshell Acrylic.

Maher and Grosh had a 3-blade 3-spring Jack (clip, spear, pen) called the Yankee Whittler in Antique Yellow JB and Cocobolo - how I'd love to own one of those!

There were five different Northwoods #78 Big Bays (not my hobby, I can't afford to go down that rabbit hole).

Here's mine again, shown with my other two Tidioutes from that release, a two-blade Cocobolo and single blade Smooth White Bone - they may be American Jacks, but I find them very English in character, and they certainly look comfortable with this English tweed:

A nice little Easter egg for those of us familiar with the area...
This past summer I caught a nice little small mouth bass just up the road a bit from this bridge.
Do these come with the shepherd’s crook instead of a pin?

Not my picture, but interesting- $250 for one of these, and I wouldn’t have guessed it was a two springer with crinked blades. I’m less of a fan of crinking than I am catch bits and thinner blade stock or asymmetrical grinds to fit the blades.

ETA: picture!!!
