I like the pattern, blade combo, jigging, but the dye just looks wonky. Not like their normal Antique Green Bone.
If you don't like that, how about some blood red ?

I love that shield!
Hey everyone. I just discovered this place about a month ago. Like many, I used to carry a pocket knife all the time, but something happened along the way and I stopped. Anyway, I am in a place now where I both (1) wanted to reconnect with that and (2) actually found myself with a regular need for a knife. So after much research (and lurking), I ended up with a Northfield #54 Moose in red hangman's bone. (I'll try to figure out how to post a pic.) I just can't believe this thing. I could nitpick, I suppose, but I bought it to be carried and worked, and it has been a fantastic tool these past weeks already. It feels so great on my hand it probably isn't getting much pocket time.
Anyway, I wanted to share and say thanks, since you all unknowingly helped direct me to exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, I think I also caught the knife bug hanging around this forum.....
Peace,
Michael

Not yet, but they made the 72,73 and 23 in stainless and some have elk handles, but you'll have to look on the secondary market. So, I guess there's probably a way to find out but I'm not sure how, but I was wondering if GEC ever made a Ben Hogan style large clip or spear point in 440c and natural elk stag?

I'm wondering on the slab options too. Orange Osage be very nice. Here was me talking about reining in the knife expenditure...some hope with this stuff about![]()
To me it looks like a Single Bladed Sway Back Jack.I'm watching too! I'm guessing it's based on the Hay n Helper pattern....?
