We are getting a lot of good option on the viper.

Fingers crossed for jigged bone like the copperhead from the 81 Muskrat or the Radio knives.

I am always hopeful for some future variants of knives that have already come out. For example, a Ben Hogan lockback w/ spear point, either with or without swing-guard, in stag would be a pretty nice piece reminiscent of Sheffield or Solingen of old. Or maybe a 2-blade jack on that same 65 frame which might qualify as an English Jack. Christine told me it might happen eventually but the nature of the production plan seems pretty spontaneous.

I also appreciate the glut of new patterns we've been seeing. I'm hoping to see a gent's teardrop pattern like the Tony Bose knives, at around 3 1/8", with a slim needly wharncliffe.

The Viper is going to be great in African Blackwood, Linen Micarta, and smooth bone! So many great choices on this one. :)

For those who have the #15 Sheepsfoot EO, how do you like it? I am thinking about getting a 15 and I'd really like a Spear blade in Ebony but can't find any...

With a Stockman, I use the sheepsfoot blade far more than the others but for some reason, a sheepsfoot main just seems weird...I think I'm just weird! :)

If you skipped buying a Ben Hogan or Swing Guard just because they weren't in stag, you really missed out. They are both incredible in jigged bone.

Similarly, I really wanted an #89 Executive Whittler with a main spearpoint. The problem, I wasn't fond of any of the very limited handle choices.

It's funny, the things that either entice us or deter us when it comes to opening the pocketbook. It's especially true, I think, when it comes to premium priced merchandise. Since it costs extra, we ("I") expect it to be perfect.

Flint, I've got a 2-blade sheepsfoot EO in ebony and I love it. The easy open feature is great. The sheepsfoot main is cool and still pointy enough when you need to puncture something.

Here is a picture of the 47 Hayin Helper Single Sheepsfoot Blade in Black Delrin. The 47 Viper will be built on the same frame. It will be done in Tidioute and Northfield versions meaning different handles and different finishes.

Just got my Barlow sheepfoot blackwood back from GEC repair and it looks like the day I got it. It had some dinks on the handle and bolster from when I dropped it. It took about 2 months to get back but I wasn't in a hurry and I'm very happy with the service and happy to have it back in my pocket. :D
