Lets talk GEC!

It looks like they'll have to update the production schedule soon! To my knowledge the only knife left on the list to finish up is the 74s.
I'm really looking forward to seeing when the 13s will be produced. Does anyone know of any other patterns that are supposed to be coming?

Smith and Sons Mudbug should be somewhere on the production shortlist. Orders were taken months ago with a projected release date of January.

Yes, I would expect the Mud Bugs to show up soon on the schedule. I've got 3 coming! Should be sometime in January.

I think it's about time for another run of 15s!

Alright, I'll bite... I can understand the enthusiasm for the pattern but for me, it does nothing. The gentle curves and "goldilocks" size are just bland and characterless in my eyes. I'm sure it's been fun for fans of the pattern, you guys have had it good this year. For the rest of us.. it's getting tiresome. The 15 has become the traditional equivalent of the titanium framelock flipper. So please, no more 15s till 2018.

I tend to agree. TS barlow and the beerscout are both exceptional knives, but there are a number of knives that GEC makes that have more going for them than the 15. I came into GEC collecting thinking the 15 was king based on all the threads, but I am happy to report that GEC makes even better ones!

What were the cover options again? Once I saw natural canvas, I jumped on that and didn't look back.

I believe in addition to the natural canvas Mud Bug the other covers were black, maroon and OD green. I have a maroon Mud Bug already so I ordered the other three. Really love this version of the GEC #21. Great work knife!

Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

Thanks. Yeah, I had a bull nose, but decided to give this one a go.

I had forgotten about the 71s. So far the 13s, 71s, and mud bugs should be on the next schedule.
I'm guessing the 13s are going to take up a good portion of their next cycle, since there are three different models with (I'm assuming) multiple different cover options.

74s and next Northwoods too.

I sure do like the way these are looking. Can't wait to have mine in hand.
