Lets talk GEC!

Doesn't do it for me, I'm not really a wharncliffe fan, I like sheepsfoot blades too much and for me it's not a stockman without one.
 
I like the look of the #81 over the #82 with a better looking clip imo and sheepsfoot over the wharnie.

Great comparison shot. Seems the Magnum is a Flat Pemberton. Same blades, same shield... Cute..
 
On the upcoming #92 single blade Eureka Jacks is there any clue what handle materials will be used? I've been really liking the way the Eurka Jack looks in a bare-headed Ebony configuration.

Green linen micarta is the only for sure I have seen posted. The ebony would look good but I would love to see a tidioute in Osage or bloodwood :D
 
I want a spey main with pen or awl secondary 15. Anybody think those would be a good combo?
 
I hope this is okay to ask, I'm really not trying to cause a ruckus, but would the quick thumb/bar type things work on the 42 trader lock back?
 
Does anybody who is in the know, have any inkling of when the #13 will be coming into the schedule? I was carrying my white micarta beauty today and i would love to see some variations on the theme.

I was wondering then same thing myself, Paul. I wonder if some of the "unpleasantness" surrounding the 2013 Forum knife was if/when GEC would be "allowed" to release the #13 pattern under their own brands. I know there was some grumbling here when GEC released their version of the 2012 knife not long after the Forum knife was produced. I, too, am eagerly anticipating a #13 release from GEC (Blackwood scales, I hope).

Blackwood sounds good. Personally, I like the idea of some rotten banana bone or that lovely tortoise shell acrylic.

I shouldn't think that a small handful of people moaning would put them off. It's great pattern that is seldom seen, and I'm sure it would be profitable for them. :)
 
Id love to see another congress jack. Really useful pattern. I think just it would look great in elk stag or a linen micarta.

That was not an issue. And we would appreciate if you would keep such suppositions off the boards. It does nothing but raise problems.

2013 was last year. We are now working on the 2014 knife and we will focus on that.
