Lets talk GEC!

Most of the Glitter Golds made in previous years sat on dealers shelves for YEARS (56's). Even when people started scooping up any GEC that remained, the Glitter Golds were the very LAST ones to leave.
I know. And it was just after the last one sold that I thought to myself, "Gee, I think maybe I'd like one of those."
That's bad timing, but I'll get over it. :(:D

I’m thoroughly enjoying all the acrylic talk and picture sharing.

I own a 35 in hummingbird and a 56 in Mardi Gras acrylic. I started collecting/carrying in 2017 so I missed out on many of the early runs of cool acrylic covers.

My grail acrylic knife would be a 38 Grinling Whittler in Kryptonite. That knife always captivates me when I see pictures.

These Tiger Maple and African Blackwood 85s are going to be something special!

Mike picked some great materials for his SFO that is for sure! Love that ABW.

I have one of the Tiger Maples reserved and I am very much looking forward to seeing them done. I don't mind the easy open notch other than you lose some of that beautiful wood.

I didn’t realise these 85’s weren’t an SFO for CK. I thought they all were Guess I should try and get one!

Kudos to GEC for trying out some new handle materials, great to see!

The Northfield versions are SFO’s for CK. The Tidioutes will be available from all the dealers.

Tiger Maple is superb, hope to see that more often.

Interesting talk on acrylics, I certainly like many of them and would be delighted if they were to do a version of the classic Cell Butter & Molasses. Also like to see some new patterns to show them off on...;)

The 14 could be reversed and made into a single spring Sleeveboard but an entirely new slimmer 3.25 or 3 3/8 Sleeveboard with small bolsters would be even fitter

There is no ABW option on CKs reserve system. Unless I am missing something.

Actually I see it on the GEC website but didn't have an option to reserve one. It is definitely ABW though. Sorry for the confusion but I think I am confused now.
