Lets talk GEC!

But it is listed in the production schedule for Mike Latham...did they goof?

Mike mentioned it a while back. The Buffalo I believe is the photos with the light brown slabs.

The pictured Tiger Maple does look outstanding - much better than it looked in the block before I sent it to them.
The African Blackwood is a group buy that we have been trying to make happen for some time.
The jigged bone is not the jig I was looking for, but looks to be very nice.
The buffalo bone was dyed in frontier dye; but it is so dense that most all will buff off in finishing and should leave a nice creamy look.

Thanks for clarifying Mike I do recall now missing out on the FB group buy :)

Any chance you can show us the jigging personally i like the horse cut or pony cut or the jigging don on the red jig 77 barlow the best from gec.

Facebook group buy for CK.

Aah - now I get it! I guess this near-septuagenarian relic needs to get me one o' them face-books.:p
Here's my lone 85 (so far) for knife content...

These 85 sfo’s are going to be epic!

I didn’t realize that dark smooth bone pic was the water buffalo bone.

Thanks to those that clarified the ABW was a club knife.

knifeswapper knifeswapper are you talking about the jigging on the beavertail wood. If you are I hope the jigging on the bone is different as well its just too uniform and mundane for my tastes but im sure its some peoples fave.

I believe these are the in-progress photos Mike's referring to. This is the Northfield Blood Red Jigged Bone.

The style of jigging on the red bone is usually sort of just okay for me, but might work out nice for the 85. With the EO notch, match strike pulls, fancy shield and bolsters, the toned down jigging might turn out very nice. Is this the first jigged bone CK SFO 85?

Nvrmind i found it thank you though i thought it would be in the 85s tab but its under whats happening. Even though the tiger maple and blackwood 85s are under the 85 tab. I was just looking in wrong place.
