I have not seen what's in the pipeline, but here are a couple pics of an older 82 Dixie Stockman (828314), Maroon Linen Micarta. Small pile side cut out to access the nail nick on the spey, no half stops.

I’ll probably be dead wrong, but it seems to me that the clip/wharncliffe 82 would be a single spring with blades on opposite ends. Kind of like the 53 Cuban or the 79 Half Whittler.
Sensational news about a New Dixie!
I'd be all over a two blade single spring but let's see what happens.
I see the blades are described as having a Spey, well hope not as the original had a Turkish Clip, Wharncliffe and Drop-Point. These are low riders
I'm after a user here as I have a Blackwood Queen Bee. Elderberry or Micarta looks the ticket! Just hope I can land one, should be OK most are non SFO but still.....![]()
That's a pleasant surprise...not that the Jack configuration would have been bad either.I just called and talked to William. the two blade 82s are pen configuration, single spring. Oh mama...

I figured some of you guys wouldn’t mind looking at some comparison shots of an 81 & 82 side by side. IMHO, the 82 is the carry knife of choice. It’s slimmer and sleeker in the hand. The jigging on this 81 is probably my hands down favorite in terms of shape and color. Kind of disappointing to me that we keep seeing what I call tire tread jigging. To each their own though!

Is this a drop point or a spey on the 82?! Looks like a drop point to me.

Just to make a slight correction, this 48 has what I personally consider to be my absolute favorite jig bone handle GEC has ever made. The 81 in my previous post is #2 and the 47 Viper is #3.

i'm sitting here holding my CSC 2015 Bladeforum knife shamefully nodding in agreement. *grits teeth*Oh no, I thought that my wallet got off light this year, that huge 14 run and I only wanted one variant. But then 99s and the 85s and now 82 pens. I might have been able to resist an 82 stockman or moose, but, I don't think that I can resist an 82 pen in natural canvas micarta.

Just curious if GEC made a magazine cover for the white bone TC and if anyone saved the photo If so can you post it or PM me?
Thanks!
