Paul, I second your motion! I missed out on this one. Maybe the EO Scout can be our 2015 Blade Forum knife?! Maybe with a cap lifter instead of a secondary pen!

If you have a problem with the moderation, go start a thread in Tech Support. Keep it out of the discussion threads.

Personally, I find that moderating the forum is a pain in the butt, especially with posters who make sarcastic comments instead of calmly addressing issues like adults. If the owner wants somebody else to mod Traditional, it's fine by me.
 
You're right, Knarfeng. We're all adults here. No need for sarcastic of passive aggressive comments. Just want to make a public apology for the sarcasm. I didn't know of any other way to point out, what I felt, was hypocritical.

Seriously, Frank: I know moderating this forum is a thankless job. Hope we can all keep in mind the effort and time it takes. Thanks for doing this. I sure don't want the job.

They do actually call this particular one gator bone. :) There is another version called Reptile Bone that is very similar if not identical. My dad has a reptile bone 23 I'll try to get some side by side pics next time I stop by their house for a visit. :) I enjoy some of the names GEC comes up with. Some are so fitting then others I don't see it.

Hold onto that knife. To my knowledge, GEC hasn't made a knife in that bone since. It's a beauty!
 
That is from the days when they bought bone from culpepper; and those days didn't last long..... But I do miss the bonestag versions.

I think it's been particularly thankless lately, with both Frank and Gary having to put in a lot of work in the face of an avalanche of inappropriate commercial posts. I hope things settle down, a good starting point for new posters is always the forum guidelines, and our mods deserve to be supported in what I think we all agree is a rather onerous task :thumbup:

Personally, I think that the modding is pretty minimal here, but it'd be nice if Gary and Frank didn't have to intervene at all, and could just post here like the rest of us :)

Thanks, Jack. The old Doctor Who face was quite stale.

The Tower Bridge is the main old bridge leading across the Sacramento River to the California Capitol building in Sacramento. This logo represents the Tower Bridge Battalion, our supporters group for the local soccer club, Republic FC.

I also follow Rangers, and presently I am enjoying the Spurs v Stoke match on TV this beautiful Sunday morning.

I will say, some of my favorite posts here are when our moderators have time to share their own opinions and pictures. I hope Frank and Gary can get back to more recreational posting this week.

Good post, Jack, and in addition, many of the posters who want commercial information don't have either PMs or email enabled, which would allow someone with specific info to let them know about opportunities, within the rules.

Second, for all you caplifter junkies, looks like GEC will be releasing a boys knife, bare end, long pull clip with a caplifter in Sunbrite Acrylic
& Antique Yellow Jig Bone. I would assume these will go quick:D

Just filling in Charlie's run with 150 of these to make it economical for them; so there won't be many to go around....
 
I think all those 99s are looking great. Would anyone else like to see them as slip joints? I know I would.
