Lets talk GEC!

So how exactly does one make contact with Charlie?

Good one Jack Black! If that's the Charlie we're talking about, I'd be more interested in the Angels!

I'm somewhat new to this particular forum and have seen the GEC SFO's regarding Charlie. Being addicted to GEC, I thought it might be nice if I too knew how to purchase from Charlie.

Thanks.

You have to sleep with one eye open, and your ear to the ground.

That's all I can say........ Monkeys in the trees

First, the Autumn Bone Wallstreets look fantastic! I'll probably pick one up, can't decide if it will be spear or clip

I'll be grabbing a couple of these as well! Barry tells me these are really nice. I'll be goin for the Spear.

I hear ya Relee, I gotta go with one of each because these are just too nice looking. I know later I would wish for the other one and then they'll be gone. This will not happen to me again.

Second, for all you caplifter junkies, looks like GEC will be releasing a boys knife, bare end, long pull clip with a caplifter in Sunbrite Acrylic
& Antique Yellow Jig Bone. I would assume these will go quick:D

Aw, geez.

My "Finally, the Last Knife" sure didn't last long.

:D

I don't know whether to laugh or cry-- both in recognition.

For me, it's the Rendezvous: each of the last two years, I've left with great knives and growing regrets.

Go figure.

Sarah, if I ever make it to a GEC Rendezvous I would be in such trouble. Happy wife, happy life not happy with knives, happy life. I must keep reminding myself of this.

Another person waiting for the next run of the 73.

it always seems like there are plenty of #73s in stock in various places though, it would be interesting to see a new run of the 73s just to see if they are changed in any way. A 2009 #73 has reasonably thick blade stock and a heavy pull, would they make new #73s with the lighter pull characteristic of recent releases and thinner ground blades?

I would like to see the 73 dressed in the smooth autumn gold bone. Only wishful thinking though.

I would like to see more of that smooth autumn gold on anything. But on some lefty 73's the most 😋
