Thanks Derrick--appreciate your input and comments! As I said in my post after flushing the joint, oiling and working the blade a couple hundred times it is starting to get some snap shutting. No doubt it will only get better. The Lincoln is growing on me. Thanks again for jumping in here and offering your help and assurances about this folder:thumbsup:

Nickel silver will tarnish a brass color. Try polishing it up.

This. Any oiled slip will do this quicker than normal. I have the same thing with my Michigan Jack.

Is the knife at 8:30 a Michigan Jack in "Blood Orange Camel Bone" ? I have one, but yours is very different, with the uneven dye job. Which I think looks Great !

Not that it matters, but that's a cool sticker. I received the same one with my Lincoln Jack.

Note - the is cooler than the sticker! Lol
