• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Let's talk Northwoods

My only Northwoods. This was the first "quality" slipjoint in my modest collection.

Why so harsh? Just because it's pinch able for you, doesn't mean it's pinch able for everyone else. I don't think people are hating anything related to a knife being pinch able.

The atmosphere on "The Porch" has been changing a lot of late, for the worse.

I guess I have to start every post with IMO huh? Was really meant as a joke, but now I see how super serious people can get about their toys.

Not fair to misquote and misinterpret me without asking first via PM. I said "u" not "the rest of u" and it was meant toward anyone who thinks forum debate changes the atmosphere for the worse.

Nice pic. I got back into traditionals this year and had a question. Were there any Northwoods knives released between Jan 2017 and May 2017? I have a Hawthorne Jack, a Little Bay, and now a Lincoln Jack. I need to know if I missed any other 2017 release. Thanks.

Can anyone list all the GEC Northwoods in order of release? I have been researching but I can't put my finger on them. I would greatly appreciate it, or a link to where it is listed.

It's easy Mark. All he has to do is comb through GEC's yearly production totals and make a list. And, then hope that everything is listed. Or, email Derrick and see if he'll give it to him.
