I can't speak for everyone but the lack of updates led me to cancel my ironwood order. I'm glad to see you have got things straight now and as I told Red Hill I'll consider it again when they are sold when the knives are ready.Guys, don't give up now! I've had some ridiculous delays all due to production on my end, but it's finally all ironed out and I'm working on the knives right now. I should have some shipping by the end of next week, possibly beginning of the following week at the latest. I'm polishing the blades now, then I'll start assembling the stags and ram's horns. After they're done I'll get right on the ironwood clip point knives. Ken is working on white bone sheepsfoot knives now as well. I just sent a message to someone who was inquiring a couple of days ago, and figured I'd cut and paste it here as well since it pretty much describes everything that's been going on (I've deleted his name for privacy):
"I really want to apologize for the ridiculous delay. I had tremendous problems trying to cut a nail mark in the steel. It was apparently cold rolled and not annealed, which is not what was initially ordered. Thanks to that it was incredibly hard. I went through several high speed steel cutters and one TiN cutter that I had to special order and still barely scratched the surface. The TiN cutter was especially problematic since I had ordered it in October and it didn't arrive until mid-December. Following that I had to go with a last effort by ordering a carbide cutter, and to my amazement it actually cut the steel. That single issue is basically what caused this entire delay. Had I known this from the start I would have invested in the carbide cutter immediately, but I was unaware of the steel screw up until much later on and couldn't grasp why nothing was cutting soft annealed steel! Honestly a lot of this a learning experience for me, especially with these different stainless steels.
In hindsight I probably should have updated you guys, but seeing as how many problems piled on one after the other, it probably would have just seemed like a continuous stream of excuses. Maybe it's a good thing I didn't. I now have the blades back from grinding, and just finished dressing the tangs and backs along with swedging. All that's left is full polish and then assembling some knives! I'm hoping that Wally has spoken with Red Hill about the pre-order business, I think that was a big mistake. I'd much prefer to put knives up for sale when they're completed for just this reason. Again I'm very sorry, six months is inexcusable. "
I actually had updated another fellow back in December just prior to my receiving that TiN cutter, saying all was well and that I should be shipping knives in a "couple of weeks", which turned out to be totally bogus and which I'm still upset about, but I'm totally confident now that I finally have the blades in hand. You have no idea the weight that's been lifted off my mind. I'll try to keep you updated in the following week as to the progress, I've got to make it a point to be more active here. Here's a shot of a few blades taken just after I finished the swedges so you know I'm not pulling your legs:

It's 3 5/16" long closed, just a hair longer than the GEC #83, but actually with a shorter blade than the #83. It arrived cleaner than most; extra care was obviously taken to clean the grit out of the joint before shipping. It also came with a nice bag and pin and a letter of apology from RedHill Cutlery for the long wait. Fit and finish is very good. Good action and snap when opening and closing. Centered blade. No gaps between spring and liners, or around the stag covers. Overall a very fine knife.
I measured mine again. I'll bump the measurement up by 1/32". Mine is 3 11/32" closed. YMMV.The sunk joint is VERY nice, but are they really 3/16" shorter than advertised? From 3½ down to just over 3¼ is quite a difference.
