Links to my YouTube knife reviews (updated January 31, 2015)

I'm interested in any comparison betwen these two knives...I like the feel and sleek look of the HK, but it's about 1.5 ounces heavier than the Trident. Any comments on performance and long-term wear would be appreciated! JRobjer

Always great to see your reviews. I have become a fan of French and Italian knives from your postings and YouTube videos.

Thanks all for your encouraging comments.
It has been a while since my last upload, and today I was ill at home so I made 4 new videos as a light pastime. All interesting knives, in my opinion:

Next to their excellent production knife series, the Japanese company Mcusta offers special limited edition custom designs as well. Here we have a closer look at the LMC 1211D knife which was inspired by a famous haiku.
57. Mcusta Custom Limited Kaeru (Frog) knife: cutting edge poetry

The Spyderco Shabaria is still one of the most unique Spydercos. Eduard Bradichansky was inspired by the rural fixed blades of bedouins in Jordan when he designed this folding Shabaria.
58. Spyderco Shabaria - unique ethnic-inspired design

Great Eastern Cutlery is a young company offering classic knife patterns made to an excellent standard while preserving the charm of these designs. We have a look at a mid-sized trapper, and the S.A.R.P.N.T., a big slipjoint utility knife with an amusing backstory.
59. Great Eastern Cutlery Trapper and Tidioute SARPNT: a quality approach to classic patterns

For my 60th review, we need a real classic. The Buck 110 is THE essential and influential classic backlocking folder. Truly a classic that spawned many imitations and variations. That's why it's interesting to compare it to a modern variant, offered by the small German cutlery Robert Klaas.
60. Buck 110 (Cabela S30V version) and Robert Klaas Monolith: the classic and a modern challenger

Classic Italian regional knives are wonderfully elegant - a must for the knife collector. In this clip we have a look at the characteristic Pattada knife from the island Sardinia, and the slender Sfilato design from the island Sicily (mine was made by the dependable company Lion Steel in the cutlery town Maniago in mainland Italy).

63. Sardinian Pattada and Sicilian Sfilato: classic Italian elegance

I can guarantee that the Pattada knife will get you drooling !

Nice review and very nice knives. Thanks for showing some lesser known knives.

Hi Dagon -

Very nice reviews!

It will take me a bit of time to get through them, but I look forward to doing so.

Thank you for taking time to post all of these!

best regards -

Two clips because it's almost Christmas, and they're all about Böker:

1. A closer look at two Böker knives that feature a modern design and that are made in Germany. The excellent Turbine 2 is the EDC version of the mighty Turbine (both designed by Dietmar Pohl) and the Super Liner Stellar is a sturdy older utility folder with a titanium handle and a rather special design with round forms all over the handle.

66. Böker Turbine 2 and Böker Super Liner Stellar: German quality

2. Magnum is Böker's value for money brand. Being made in China with basic 440A steel for the blade, Magnum knives are indeed very affordable. But do they offer enough value for the money? Here'll find out by examining three of Magnum's better looking folder knives.

67. Three Magnum folders: Tech Folder Carbon, Tuscany and "M": real value
