M2 TRYOUT!

Cord wrap is finished. It really fills my meat grabbers nicely now.

I'm sad that I have to pass this along on monday.

Tip is still sharp! Those cuts started in the middle of a piece of free hanging paper. VERY easily caught and dug right in.

I lost all of the photos of the cardboard tube unfortunately. I made many attempts to dull the tip in it but to no success. The paper slices were made tonight before posting.

I really like this idea of making a knife out of a saw blade. I'll be trying this for sure. The hockey tape and paracord really are comfy.

I'll maybe touch it up after looking at it through my work microscope monday. Other than that I'll be passing it along.

Meat and veggies stand no chance.
Cardboard stands no chance.

this type knife would make a wonderful lightweight small camp food prep kindling scraper type small chore do it all blade.

I'd like to see one with a little more saw back on it.

I'll be doing that in a few weeks once I have some time in at the new shop.

Thank you for everyone's patience. This will be headed out to the next member on the list monday most likely.

tinfoil hat timmy tinfoil hat timmy thank you for making such a beautiful and functional handle for the knife! And keep it an extra couple of days if you want to play around with it some more.
No problem! Ill hang on to it for a little while longer then I guess.

I'll see how much more cardboard she can handle then give it a touch up

This is the giveaway knife. And I took it a bit thinner than the pass-around knife after gaining confidence with the steel. This one not only slips between cardboard atoms, but shaves arm hair as well.

But I have to admit, at this thinness, if I were using it bare handed, I actually will go the no jimping and crowned spine route going forward.

wow that's TRULY one that needs to eat a few sammiches

If I did I forgot, just like I forgot my chess sense in both games I resigned recently. One of which being against you.
