No. Because he has been looking at my profile everytime he logs in...just to go through any of my post to TROLL them.
How dense are you?

There's 2 trolls in this thread, and both voted that they're disappointed in a knife that they don't own, and came here only to crap on a knife and company they clearly have an agenda with. And FYI, the OP replying to trolling posts in a thread he created isn't stalking or trolling. Trolls also use the :jerk it: emoticon in forums that are supposed to be family friendly (ie: anywhere but W&C).

13Ninjas, if I came across as taking a swipe at you, I apologize.

KeithAM, all I can say is :(

Seems to me that this thread has come to illustrate that you can solve a problem...or you can have, and enjoy having and talking about, a problem. *sigh*

Trolling your posts! What, by reading them? Thanks. You just made me spit beer on my keyboard. :D

I could really have some fun with this, but enough of that--this thread has a legitimate purpose. You get to join Nozzle on my ignore list. Bye!

Thanks. I'm not discouraged, and I think the results of the poll are interesting and with a couple of glaring exceptions (I can't say enough about the ignore function) the comments are good.

I love mine. Lockup is perfect. Perfectly centered. Opens soo smooth (I lubricated it with Militec-1)

The Military is my favorite knife model. And this Military is everything I wanted a Military to be. It is now my #1 EDC knife. At least it is until I get that New Benchmade 805 in a few months. I'm very happy.

Wow! & thanks!

Those that follow this stuff & know me will get it.
And how about a pre Merry X-mas!

Man I love this hobby!
Troll's & all! LOL LOL

It's not something to take lightly either. I used to work for a company that had a layer of middle managers who spent everyday in meetings talking endlessly about their product's problems which they coddled and nurtured year after year. Twenty years after I resigned from that company, they're still in trouble with the FDA over the simplest technical things.

I did get a laugh, at myself, last night. I realized I'd been trying (but maybe not succeeding) in pouring oil on the water...the problem was that there are always a few out there who mistake oil for gasoline and they will try to set the oil on fire, and they sometimes succeed. Oh well! :) :(

I love analogies...and that is spot on! I feel your pain.

There are always issues with conveying tone on forums, and I also think it is the time of year (at least around here...it gets darker earlier, people are not as able to get out as much as they would like...everyone seems to get a little quicker to "go guns").

Sorry if I got to anyone...

The Blade on mine is just a hair off center, but well within the margin of error.

It didn’t open all that smooth, but after playing with it for a while and some oil its very smooth.

I like all the futures that it shares with the standard military, like its thin tip, and pocket clip.

The general fit and finish is very, very nice.

The lock bar insert makes it look different from other frame locks I own but considering it should come with increased performance and decreased wear I’m very happy with it.

The blade is very sharp, probably within the top 5 or 10 sharpest “out of the box” knives I’ve gotten.

The addition of the RIL makes the knife special but I bought it for 4 inches of flat ground CMP-M4.

Over all I am extremely happy, it was worth the wait and then some. Thank you Rodger and thank you Spyderco.

As far as one or two of the “other” posters in this thread goes my best advice is: Don’t feed the troll.

Can't wait to get my hands on mine, so that I may put in a vote,,,

It's somewhere over the big pond as we speak,,,

Thanks, amigo - as they used to say on those wine cooler commercials 20 years ago, "we appreciate your support." As you say, you can't convey much with internet postings, but I mean that in an open/sincere and low-key way.

:thumbup::thumbup:

Big "thumbs up" here to Roger at KW and all the Spyderco crew. Nice knife.

The only problem with mine is that it's not fully serrated! :D;):)

Funny thing is, you dont need to own or ever held the knife in the vote in the poll.
LOL LOL
Considering that, its scoring very very well!

I noticed that we had another "disappointed" vote cast by a brand new member who doesn't even own this model. Such is the internet.

I suspect that if this thread stays "active" (on the front page) long enough, we will see more votes than knives produced. LOL

This pole should serve as yet another "internet fact".

In the end, there is no perfect knife...even if you find one that is really close, there will be some guys that will not like it for one reason or another. And there is the reality that mistakes/defects happen. Spyderco is not perfect and anyone that claims they are has as much credibility as the knife-less voters.

I received my M4 Millie in the mail today. Upon unboxing it, I found few problems with the knife. First of all this is my first Millie, but I do own a few spydies. One of them being the Sage 1.

Getting back to the issues I have. The blade was way off center, it's almost rubbing on the G-10 liner. I noticed a few rub marks on the blade where it looks like it was rubbing, and it was adjusted and now it's not rubbing. And the the titanium lock is almost at 75% engaged when the blade is locked open. And the last issue I noticed was the blade is not very smooth. But from reading some of the reviews here, this can be worked out over time.

I called Spyderco about the issues and they seemed surprised/dissapointed that it slipped through QC. Im going to send it in to get corrected. I'm going to hold off on voting on the M4 until after I get it back.

The Sage 1 that I have is absolutely perfect. No problems and it's very smooth, glass smooth.

This seems to me (YMMV, etc.) to be the perfect way to handle an unexpected problem. My hat's off to you.
