That`s why I always email when I am actually ready to start on a knife. That way, if they changed their mind, or can`t afford it, nothing is lost. In his case, when I emailed him, he said to go ahead with it.

Well then; I suppose that is a pretty clear message that says:

"I am a thief and ripped you off and in the process destroyed my reputation"

Soon, if he does not clear this up, someone might google his name. Google will lead them here to make their own conclusions. I sure hope he is not employed in a position of public trust!!

I do not see his Name and Address in this thread. I feel it should be posted to allow for full exposure and possible prevention of reoccurrance.

That has my vote too  I believe that is what also happened with the Saudi arabia thread. Just to make sure others didn't fall back into his trap.

OK

Can anyone fill in the gaps? Perhaps a military address (if he ever really was in the Military)? I have a friend who is still in that could look up the Unit, perhaps a letter to his CO would assist him in mending his ways.

I hope you can get this resolved. It sounds as if you went above and beyond to ensure that he still wanted the knife before you started the work, and I especially hate to see someone who takes that extra time and care to get burned like this.

If all or even most of the knives on his photobucket page really belong to him, his disposable income is significantly higher than any other military personnel that I have ever met. :(

This guy needs to be set straight in a not too subtle manner.

If you can find out where he is stationed, contact the Provost Marshall's office and make a theft complaint. That will hit where he lives. Might be the best course of action.

100% on the money. The military takes a VERY dim view of this kind of crap. The below website is something that anyone can find, but I'll post it anyway. There are some current telephone #s for folks who can help immediately. If they cannot help directly, they can give you the Provost Marshall's telephone # and get the ball rolling. Trust me--when you have the attention of the Provost Marshall, he/she will in turn definitively have the full, undivided attention of the thief in question. There will be no more of this "I can ignore you" BS.

He was just on, and I sent him another message. There are also a couple invisibles viewing this thread now. Hmmmmmmm?

I guess I am not alone in dealing with Jesse. I made a sheath for him and shipped it out based on his word that he would pay via paypal the following week. I have sent numerous e-mails trying to be nice and I believe that he is just ignoring me. I have some read receipts from e-mail and I know he has been online here.

I hate to think he is trying to screw me over. But my patience is wearing thin. He has bought and paid for several sheaths in the past, so this all seems out of character for him. If he is having problems I would like to hear what is going on. Being ignored just makes me mad.

He has also told me in the past that he is in the military. I would hate to have to start making contacts to track him down. :grumpy:

To OP: I am not trying to steal your thread, just venting I guess.

This whole Thread just makes me sad. That people should have to do this just to be heard by him ....

Proof, once again, that putting on a uniform does not make you a trustworthy person. And as OTE says, the military takes an EXTREMELY DIM VIEW of this sort of behavior -- if you've made a commitment, live up to it. If you have a problem, say so.

Jesse -- I know you're out there. Don't let this go on, not even for one more day. Stand up and be a man.

uh...

JESSE CAMPBELL in Hattiesburg, MS in the military and stationed at Camp Shelby?

hmmmmmm.......

This is simple, make a few phone calls, find out who his 1SG is and his phone number. Send this madborder guy one more email with his 1SG's name and number and he will send the money. Fast.
