MagnaCut Mule Team crash

Anyone already received a shipping notification? How soon does Spyderco normally ships MT?

They normally ship very quickly. I usually get a shipping notice in 1 business day and usually receive my orders w/in 2-3 days after that

BUT . . .

they've probably got about 1,000 orders for the MT35 (plus their other orders) to fill and it's XMAS.

So, I really don't expect to see a confirmation that my order has been shipped until at least the middle/end of this week and will feel lucky it if arrives by early next wk. If it happens quicker that that GREAT! but personally I wouldn't expect anything better than that.

I got a Shipping notification Saturday, only that a label had been created, no movement as of yet.

Others have reported similar results on the Spyderco Forum.

Me? I haven't even seen a chg on either of the 2 cards that I used to try to buy the 2 MagnaCuts yet and I'm worried that I might never even receive the one's that I bought, after Spyderco discovers that that the order was never paid bc of the processing problems that delayed completing any order for about 50 mins to begin with.

If that happens, I'll buy one on EB for about $200 (currently the going rate) but I will NOT be happy!!!

I’m in the same boat, say a change pending for $150 but no shipping notification, checked the account this morning with no charge pending. Total bummer for me as I have been able to connect one of each since the beginning, anyone lucky enough to have scored two I’d be willing to trade my right nut for one.🤪

I wasn't worried about the shipping, till now. I got an immediate confirmation email. The charge to my account was visible immediately but dated today. The charge hasn't been reversed. No other emails. So it should still be coming.
Someone said they ordered a calendar earlier in the week and never got a shopping notification, though it arrived Friday.
I ordered a sheath and scales Thursday night. I got an immediate confirmation email and a shipping notice Friday morning.
 
Just received a message saying my order is getting worked on as soon as possible.
I am reading between the lines here that maybe the question of ' has my order shipped yet? ' has been asked over the phone a bit, lol.
Still was nice to get that message, worry factor downgraded.

Got the same Email but card is no longer pending. Thought about calling the outlet store on the off chance they have one or two unspoken for.

Did they just pull your order "out of line" to send them 2 you quicker (or did they cancel your online order and send sell you 2 out of the available stock in the store)?

Just curious.
 
Received email notification that order has shipped and card has been charged. Also received the tracking number in the email, although I haven't bothered to follow the link yet. I figured its still in the "label created" phase.
Honestly, I don't expect to see it for a bit (I'm in NY) and that is totally okay. Yes, I'm really excited, but there are humans on the other end of this too trying to do the best they can to keep up with all orders.

They said my order was completed but my bank only put a two day hold on funds, he checked the list and said mine will be packed shortly and my card charged. After that mess with all the crashes it sure is nice that persistence paid off.🤫

That doesn't sound exactly like you "have 2 on the way." Not unless, they've given you a tracking # and a chg has shown up in your cc acct since then.

FWIW, I got the same "be patient" email others did. So, I'm just going to wait and, if there's a problem w/the credit card, I'm hoping that they will contact me by email for follow-up rather than just cancel the order outright, given the computer problems they had processing the orders on Friday.
