March BOTM <117 COCOBOLO 154CM>

What's everyone's thoughts? I haven't pulled the trigger, but I do love a fixed blade knife. Pretty cool the sheath is made in the USA too!

I don’t think it could get any better. Maybe different steel choice but I’m certainly not complaining. 154 is a nice upgrade I will be more than happy with. Thanks Buck. The 117 is one of my absolute favorites.:thumbsup:

I would also think they still have the tooling to do these. Which makes me wonder even more why they discontinued them.

decisions, decisions.....great knife in great steel......

wanting it but card won't go through some kind of merchant/issuer/credit card company compatability issue. found out after I called my card provider. so 1 more for y'all to buy. its fate telling me to move along.....:) good luck to all, congrats to those who get one. show us pics when they arrive.

Well it’s very tempting. I’ve already ordered a 102 and 105 pro models and I already have the 117 cocobolo and brass 420hc.
I had one in cart but I guess I’ll think on it a bit. If only it were the S35vn steel I’d have jumped on it. Idk 154cm is good steel but it’s not that big of a jump above 420hc imo. With 500 made hopefully they won’t sell out to fast in case I decide to pull the trigger.

I’ve been wanting a 117 for awhile so this is very exciting! I’m in for one!

I had the same issue - tried twice with no luck. Eventually used PayPal instead and that seemed to go through ok.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t 154cm very similar to 440c in the steel composition? Seems I read that somewhere. I still might take the plunge. Is sucker on my forehead too? Lol
