Masters Of Defense knives

I figured while everone was talking about these things, I may as well pull out the box in the bottom of my closet and snap some pics. These are all the MOD's in my small collection, but it doesnt come anywhere close to rivaling my father in laws. I asked him to take picures of his collection, and he said next time he is pulling all his stuff out of the knife safe, he would take some pictures of the rarer stuff.

I also realized that I had the matching folder to the crucible blackhawk fixed blade. its in one of these pics. Also, there is another sweet little fixed blade at the bottom from blackhawk (one of the seki japan knives)

**Speechless**

I gotta get some air....

hey, is that mark 5? (big fixie with the teenage mutant ninja turtle spikes) have a sharpened top swedge? The one I have is a factory sharpened top side. I wonder how many were done either way from the factory.

I haven't felt so enlightened since the college asked me to leave. Let me regain my composure here, I may have some questions....

Yes the bottom is a triton, the blackhawk above it was the one I was speaking of.

Hey MOD-Jon, can you tell me what model that little hawkbill folder i have is? It has no marking on either side.

I promise they cut just the same as a sebenza or a smith and wesson gas station special.

You guys are overwhelming this MOD fan.

I think it's time for a pickin' trip to Asheville is what I think.

I also have two other MOD auto folders that look strikingly like the Protech rockeye. They have prototype laser engraved on both sides REALLY LARGE, but that is all. Problem is I have just looked everywhere and cant find them. Last time I remember seeing them is before I moved, and I wrapped them in papertowels beacause they were new but had no sheath. I think they may have been prototypes that never went into production. When I go down to my dads house, I will look through some more stuff there.

It's a Ladyhawk. One of the original five models. Can't tell you for sure if it's an original or Blackhawk. I'd guess it's original due to the handle.

We were posting about it somewhere in here the other day.

I so wanted to buy the original Ladyhawks (auto and manual), but I felt that I couldn't afford them at the time. I should have just went ahead and put out the cash. Would have been a great addition to the collection and a decent investment. Made the same mistake with the Camillus tacticals produced before they went belly-up... Such is the life of a knife nut/collector on a budget!

Hey man, email me through my profile. I wanna tell you how you MIGHT get your hands on some of them.
