mattal21 - Look out for this one

Assuming you mattal21 did not notice the blade play as you said, once Hal brought the issue to your attention you should apologize and offer a solution, like offering partial refund like $20-40 for him to keep the knife to see if he agrees or a full refund plus returning shiping fee if he no longer wants the knife. It is very unwise for you to dwell on the lanyard thing and yes it does sound like a lame excuse.

So. If it put the lanyard back on you will issue a refund? I think return shipping costs would fair also.

I can't believe a fledgling service provider on the largest knife forum would focus on a worthless lanyard to make this insane stand.
You will not do well here dude......I wonder if you can get a refund on your membership?? No one will forget your attitude here. You e been given an option for a very easy way out of the mess you made here. Instead of accepting it you are crossing your arms, pouting and stamping your feet.....over a foot of chord.
Great move.
Joe

Too bad this couldn't have been quickly reversed. But it must be a slow news day. mattal21 bought the knife second hand and sold it without using it. It wasn't NIB under their deal circumstances. No need to treat either of these guys as if they messed up. It's just a deal that didn't work out.
If mattal21 can soften his position a bit, and try to meet the OP half way, all of the drama can be avoided.

I'd be willing to retie a lanyard OR take $5 off the refund to leave it as is. I'd still want return Priority Mail shipping costs.

+1

I can see your point, mattal21, but it looks like you slammed your own dick in the door on this one.

I expect items to be returned in the same condition in which they were received. Not too much to ask. If he can't do that then I will continue to maintain my position on this matter.

Receive in a box. Removed from Box. Condition changed. Dude, you are one lame creature.

That knife has prolly been disassembled and molested countless times. But the paracord was lost forever. Lol

Not a knife maker.

You might want to check your listing, right below your name, where it says "knife maker".

Just a thought.

Given how badly you've handled the deal in question, I doubt you'll be getting much in the way of business here but you really should stop advertising yourself as a knife maker.

So if he ties a lanyard back onto the knife, will a full refund be in order?

This ^ OP I ripped on you pretty hard ,but stop and think about this for a second and look at how many views this thread has ,also Google yourself you see the thread , I'm sure if you make it right this could turn around for you .

Again take a long slow look at this situation you sold a knife with a lanyard on it and your refusing the guy a refund because of the lanyard. Balls in your court and there is still time to come back from this ,once PayPal makes a judgement though not so much .

Yes sir. I'll even cover the return shipping. One of the reasons I purchased that knife was because of the lanyard. I just want it returned in the same configuration in which it was received.

Shit Hal, I looked at that green 0566 and thought about getting it. Glad I didn't.
