Microtech bringing out a new manual! Edit- 2 manuals actually!!!!

Eknives dropped their msi and stitch today. $395 for the msi and $495 for the stitch. Rediculous. Cheaper on the secondary market.
Years back I bought my first two microtechs from eknives but this is crazy. I’m done with this company.

Thankfully the free market will work and show them their pricing is too high via low sales. Whether they change or not is up to them, but at least there's plenty of cheaper options, like say, direct from Microtech for a ton less.

I just saw this on Microtechs Facebook page. It’s a custom but hopefully they will make a production version.

They probably picked up a bunch from Microtech at Blade Texas, for retail ($250), and bumped up the price....

I like the MSI and can wait for it to be readily available, if by that time I'm no longer interested money saved...

Yup. I still prefer the original version but if they do turn this one into a production piece I won’t complain.
I don't know... you might like the new one better. I've actually had my hands on them and fit and finish compared to the original is world's apart.

They were introduced at Bladeshow Texas...
Mirror finish, Pekka Tuominen Damascus and Satin finish....
They might be a hit if they go to production. I was never a fan of the original, but as soon as I held these. I was hooked

The MSI looks really good, and for $250 that's a very competitive price point. Right now it seems like they are only dropping them direct on their web-store for $250, and it's mass chaos to get one. Hopefully at some point they show up at dealers in the same $250 price range. The MSI is bigger than it the pics I've seen suggest, the blade is almost 4".

The Stitch looks cool, but it's $300 and WAY too much handle/choil for a tiny cutting edge for me. If they'd have thinned the blade out top to bottom and brought the cutting edge back to the handle I'd have to have one.

They also just released partly and fully serrated versions. The page for both MSI/Stitch also mentions G10 or carbon fiber handle option so we may see that down the road as well.

I know the G10 MSIs have been trickling out, but has anyone heard anything about carbon fiber? I know they talked about it when it was announced but I haven't seen it listed yet
