Mnandi: My latest Obsession

Fooj's Mammoth and D.R.H.'s Snakewood might be two of the most incredible looking knives I've seen in a long while. Amazing!

I just saw that my snakewood has a twin sister in the exchange!

Bumping this back to page 1 where it belongs!! Anyway, since my Mnandi collection is right where I want it to be (unless some of you with those beauties I keep drooling over decide to let them go to a new home!), figured I'd post an updated pic of the family. Besides, still playing around with and getting used to my new lighting set up ... and the only way to do that is to keep taking pics! So, here's the family:

I'm doing okay with single items, but still find it hard with this set-up to get good shots of multiples like this. I really need more room than I have to be able to adjust and control the lighting.

Awesome collection d.r.h, love ivory with damascus and that snake wood is the best I've seen. Congrats Brother

Thanks everyone. I'll do anything to keep one of my favorite threads alive, active, and on page 1!!! Hopefully, we will get to see pics my snakewood's twin sister sometime soon.

Some quick pics trying out my note 2 in some low light, turned out okay, better pics to follow for sure!

But just got this gorgeous honduran rosewood in today, pictures do not do it justice...

Lots of nice character in that one! One of the things I am really liking in Honduran rosewood is the combination of the light golden browns with the highly contrasting dark browns.

Everytime I get rid of my Mnandis I'm ok without one until I peek in here. If I ever make it to PA drh, we're hanging out buddy:D
