Here's my newest Mnandi. Hooked it on Christmas day. Really wanted a Mesquite..........
2006 Box Elder!
If there is any left handed Mnandi owners out there, I'd like to hear how comfortable left handed operation is for the right handed knife. I'd love to get one but have never had the pleasure of handling a Mnandi. Thanks. You guys sure have some beauties! May look into a L-H model if I can find one.

Excuse my lacking here but since this knife has a thumb NAIL groove, is 2 handed opening required as per a slip joint knife, or can it be thumbed open as you would with a thumb stud? How's the smoothness & ease of blade opening? Thanks again.I use them left-handed quite a bit, I'm ambidextrious. I also use my Lefties right-handed sometimes. They're pretty comfortable to open and close off-handed, but of course it's really sweet to get one for the hand you use. Lefties are out there, but can be elusive. I have 3 right now.

Thanks. Considering the character of the knife, I have no problem with 2 handed operation here. This is a different breed than the larger one handed tools. I'm really taken with the gorgeous Damascus/wood inlay stuff I $ee.I can open them one-handed. It's not as easy as with a thumb stud, but not bad at all. Of course, it helps that the knife is super smooth to begin with.
OK girls & guys, out with it! Who snatched all those nice Mnandis at TNK?
By the time I had a look they were all gone!
Kind regards,
Jos
