That is indeed a very nice knife, you will be hard pressed to beat a bit of cream Mammoth. ......That is ivory, right ? :p

Very Nice RiverRat84, I not only love your new addition but also the way you presented it, Beautiful Mnandi, Beautiful Picture:thumbup:

Great choice. You know, the more I look at my cream Mammoth, the more and more I like it. There is just something soothing about it.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It is indeed mammoth ivory. I have a nice Ebony Mnandi lined up to keep it company. It's been awhile since I've had a Mnandi, wonderful little knives!

Very nice, Mr. Rat. Congrats.

That one seems to have a familiar look to it...did happen pick it up from another forum member?

Well, my Cocobolo and ladder damascus knife was returned (long story), but no worry, I have a Snakewood with plain blade coming soon. This vendor, a really reputable guy in VA, said Mnandis are selling like hotcakes.

My latest update.

Edit: Just realized I am missing my Ivory/Raindrop in the photo. Looks like I will have to take another photo.
There is one other mnandi in this thread that I drool over more, but yours here - the third from the left - is a close second. Just fantastic. Do you still use it as your every day carry?

I still carry it, it gets about 95% of my pocket time.

That's awesome. It's great to see pieces like these getting pocket time. I think I've seen the question asked of you before, but figure it might a good time to get an update - how's the ladder damascus held up through the use?

Here is another one I find very interesting, love the greens mixed with the browns and yellows. Thanks to a fellow member.

The damascus has held up fine and I have had no issues, in fact it feels much smoother when opening now. Damascus has a bit of a "gritty" feel when opening and closing, but with use this one feels almost as smooth as an S35V.
My ROF is the roughest btw.

I've noticed the same thing, a gritty feeling when opening damascus knives. Must be the textural nature of the surface.
