Those are just outstanding Glenn! The horn really came out spectacular! You are the TL-29 Mod KING.

Thanks Barry, I'm probably running out of original ideas for these things, but it's fun to dream things up. Guess I should look into maybe doing something from scratch

I've done a few production knife makeovers.Just finished a couple of Soddies.Stag with a G-10 bolster, filework, and i took the deep belly out of the blade.

...and who said a sod buster shouldn't have bolsters?

All I can say is WOW! I love me some soddies! They happen to be my favorite folder to customize (mostly because of ease) and I can only aspire to make something this beautiful! Very well done, Don.

Did you replace the liners or use the originals? I find that the production liners are a little wonky, but I still like to use them to save on brass and labor. Your liners look perfect:D

Here are some Case knives that I customized with some homemade composites and mosaic pins. I made the pocket slips for them also. The composites are OD canvas layered with copper, Dark purple canvas layered with aluminum, and cream and brown burlap layered with copper.

Close-up of the burlap composite, you can really see the copper shine through.

Mosaic pivot pin on the soddie. Something new I thought I would give a try.

Esnyx, just beautiful! I love the creativity in your material choices. Stuff I would never have even thought of.

Thanks Glenn! Since I make my own composites, I try to be as original as I can to differentiate my stuff from the production composites.

it bothered me enough to finally take all apart, changing wood handles and converting electrician knife into single blade slipjoint

Nice save, Rinos. Looks very pocket friendly now

Here is my latest customization, a Schatt & Morgan Heritage Series jack. The blade and the spring are the only original parts to the knife. The scales are stabilized spalted box elder burl with a blue mosaic pin I added as an accent. Came out better than expected, being my first time using stabilized wood.

Yes very nice! I think I may have to let you loose on my GEC73 that has a cracked bone on the mark side. Something they seem unwilling to re-handle even at my cost....

I've seen Evan's work up close and it is really nice. He did a sodbuster for me and I love it. I might be a little biased though since he is my friend and I helped with the homemade composites in return for beer :D

Email me and we can talk about it. Can't discuss it in this forum.
