Modified Production Knives (traditional only)

It toon a while to get through all the photos all I can day is beautiful work folks! Really shows off how much you love a particular model to caress it into something more than and better than the original in so many ways!

Here are some more customs that I just finished up. I took a 3 blade GEC #53 and turned it into two knives. Spalted sycamore scales with stainless bolsters and pins, and brass liners. Let me know what you think, opinions appreciated!

Here is a pic of the original knife:

2 knives that look better than the original 1.

Thanks! It was an odd ball in my collection, and I was looking for some GECs to customize, so I thought, why not that one? Then I thought, why not see if I can turn it into two? I am happy with my choice.

I like the work you have done. I also am interested in how you gave the bolster and liners the hammered look. The exposed rivet fits the bolster treatment.

I used my peen hammer and hammered the crap out of them. Took me quite some time...

Wow Glenn! That is gorgeous! I love the easy open, very classy. Is that ebony?

Here are some of my more recent customs. I've gotten around to playing with my mammoth ivory, and I am diggin' the results. Check em out:
